Disabled Students Allowances
Service Overview:
People with disabilities are very neglected in our society. The government has taken various programs to improve the living standards of the disabled. To get this facility you have to apply by filling the prescribed form. Indigent people with disabilities get benefits through this government service.
Advantages of the service:
1. People with disabilities get financial benefits

2. They do not have to depend on others

3. Can live comfortably through allowance benefits
Process:
Persons with disabilities registered by the Department of Social Services to receive indigent disability allowance with an average annual income of a maximum of Rs. 36,000 / - and a minimum age of 06 years.He will apply along with the Upazila or City Social Service Officer in the prescribed form. The Union Committee will verify the application and send the preliminary list to the Upazila Committee for final approvalThe Upazila or Municipality or Metropolitan Committee will finalize the list and issue allowance books in the name of the beneficiaries through the Upazila Social Service Officer with the approval of the Member of Parliament. Then the beneficiary opened a bank account in his own name for 10 rupees.
The allowance money was transferred from the joint bank account of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer and the Social Service Officer to the beneficiary's bank. Beneficiaries will withdraw the allowance from their bank account.
