North Joypur Union History
  No 9 Uttar Joypur union is now affiliated with Chandkhil upazilas of Noakhali and East upazilas of Sadar upazila of Lakshmipur district, before this Union Parishad was connected to Chandraganj union 10 before. In the year 1960, it divided into two parts namely, Uttar Pradesh Union of 10 and now North Zone Union No 9. At present, the number of people in the union is 34,500, of which the rate of education is 60%, daily life is 20%, jobs are 10%, farmers 60% and other occupations occupy GB 10%, the total number is 50% poor.
